TRUTH Sunday Night Youth Group

6 - 8pm
Variety is the spice of life.   We like to keep you on your toes so every week is a little different.

1st Sunday
A night full of hang-out time, games, music, a relevant message and small group discussions.

2nd Sunday
. . .the night to invite your friends for some free pizza, games, music, a relevant message and small group discussions.

3rd Sunday
. . .can you say Gym night?  Come for a message from God's Word that hits home and then some extended time to play in our gym or just hang out.

4th Sunday:  Encounter
Encounter is a night of discussion for the whole group to get closer to God and closer to one another.  Be ready for some in-depth, in-your-face discussion!

TRUTH Sunday School

Sunday mornings at 9:15 am (I know it's early but its worth it!)
This is when we dig deep into God's Word one book at a time.  This in-depth Bible Study is designed to give you a firm handle on what the Bible teaches.  This is no survey; it's deep, it's practical and it's life-changing because its the Word of God.

E-Team

E-Team is our student leadership team.  Each E-Team member has a specific ministry that they are involved in.  They also help in designing and executing our events, schedule, Sunday nights and Youth Services.  E-Team plays a very important role of TRUTH; without them we would not be able to do the things that we do!   E-Team meets weekly before Sunday night TRUTH and monthly for a planning meeting.

Requirements to be on E-Team:
Candidates for E-Team must be at least a Sophomore, must be a dedicated follower of Christ, a servant, and a team player.  Recruitment of new E-Team members occurs in the summer as we prep for the next fall.

Youth Services

Quarterly, we, as a youth ministry, create an evening service for our congregation.  Students are involved in leading worship, leading in prayer, reading Scripture or illustrations, participating in special music, ushering, or preaching.

Service and Missions Project

Throughout the year, TRUTH serves the community, our congregation, and the world through service projects.  These projects range from raking leaves to particpating in the 30 HR famine.

Once a year, we go on a missions trip.  Within a four-year time span, each student will have the opportunity to do one local project, two US projects and one foreign project.  Some of these projects are prepared on our own and some are through missions trip organizations (i.e. World Changers).  These trips have proven to be life-changing not only for the receipients of the project but also the participants.
